Suggestions for a Thank You gift
So I called the Drywall Subcontactor for the Job that the company I work for is doing and I asked him to recommend a drywaller who would be able to fix some water damage in three rooms in my house. he said he would call me back and when he did he said that he would have one of his guy at my house on a certain date/time. So I said that I didn't care how much it cost, I just need i perfect because my mom's picky with sort of stuff. He replied that there was no cost and for me not worry about it.
Anyways, this is a very nice gesture of him to send on of his drywallers to my house to do some work for free (this is a commercial drywalling company that does big, exopensive projects, not housecalls). I'm thinking I will send him an expensive bottle of something and give his drywaller a 2-4 when he comes to the house. Any other suggestions? |
nope that should cover it.... a 24 for his dude doing the work and a bottle of wine for the dude in the office....
maybe a nice BJ? Naw jk
Id say a nice bottle of something and maybe a nice tip! Thats what I would want lol |
That should be just fine.
don't give money. if it's a gift, money can be insulting.
the contractor is probably getting paid. 2-4 is always good. flip the wine... buy the office guy a texas mickey of jack daniels or soemthing! |
I'm kinda worried about sending it to his office too cus i don't know what the situation is with him sending a worker to my house. Anyways, an expensive bottle of wine and some beer should cover it.

crown royal..... nice and smooth....
make sure you give the beer after the job is done, lol, it might turn out better
tickets to a game...
tickets are a good idea. This guy could be a recovering alco and your bottle might tip the wagon!(LOL)
send a dozen roses ;) that'll send a nice little message
^----- And then you can write "Thanks for the other day..." on the card :D
uh why give him anything?
j/k |
