Stupidity Levels Increase

So there is this idiot at work who can't stand a minutes silence and likes to talk to look smart.

Over the past 2 years I've worked here, I've heard her add to conversations that she really should be included in.

"Oh yes, Unix, that is one of the most expensive programs."

"Just because they call it a Beta test, doesn't mean we shouldn't use it, we save money if we get it." ----This was in regards to running it on live systems...

She's a supervisor for a few people doing a job she has experience in. She is by no means a manager or in a position with any real authority.

Anyway, she said something that truly amazed me. A technichian was installing their proprietary software and said they can ouput to any database, and it was currently working with Access.

She replied.... "hhhmmmm, we don't really use access, why don't we use Word or Excel? Sev, What do you think, I think we should use Word."

I can't make this sh*t up. The poor technician didn't know how to reply without making his client feel stupid and agreed with her. I only had a smirk on my face.

haha.. i'm not the kind of person to sabotage the company i work for... the company knows her mental abilities... i don't know why she is still here.. it takes a lot to be told to leave at a lot of places.....

i wrote an email discussing the install to management.. i forwarded it to my boss.. with comments of my own.. such as the wench's suggestion to use word for a database.

my boss once suggested "we take her out back and shoot her in the head"

my boss is a woman. hahhahaha.. damn right

it's this one chick... i dream about tearing the flesh off her face.

I really hope she dies slowly from a car accident she got in on the way home from the hospital after finding out she has a terminal illness.

this broad has tried to get me into trouble before because i have snapped on her for doing some very very stupid things that she was told not to do by me, and then the company president. the first time she did it, i spoke to her, the second time she did it, i spoke to management and flipped. it was something really bad... that could have resulted in about 400 people sueing the company.

i've locked her down now and she has been put into place... so she tries to hurt me (office politics) whenever she can... but nobody respects her at all.. so it's kind of funny...

i have saved the company over $200K since they hired me, so I have a feeling, she can't do much to me.

well I had an interesting day at work last night... Bruce as you might know I'm a technican I take pride in being able to figure out and understand procedures and processes at work that I'm required to perform. so last night I get into work with a senior technican and a tech from Nortel. (each one of them has more knowledge then me and I respect that) anyways so I'm suppose to be running through this one procedure that I've never seen before ... well the senior tech for the company I work for insists on sitting down beside me at my terminal.. which hey I was cool with since what I was doing could have dire consequences for the company if done wrong.. however when he sits down he picks up the procedure that I've printed off and proceeds to read out to me what I need to do. well I don't work that way... I was hired as a tech not a secritary. so I asked him to place the document down so that I can read what it's saying to do. (also the commands are case senestive UNIX stuff and capital leters happen throughout the name of the scripts I was running and it's a billion times easier to type in correctly the first time when I can see the command.) anyways dude refuses so I lock my work station and go on lunch break. Anyways after putting them an hour behind schedule he saw things my way

I hate Office Politics ... ever since he got a stupid title change he's been acting this way

yeah man... i am obvious to phone tech... but I know all these phone techs.. most of them at least suck... it's these 40 year old union guys... so many of them are crap... i've had guys who casually swear... ask me about hooking them up with extra hours... blah blah blah... and this is like 5 minutes after meeting them...

i've had to work 24 hours straight because of an entourage f*ck up.. what was interesting is 1/2 their crew left during the upgrade because they were tired and "had enough"... meanwhile, we've been waiting on them for 10 hours at the office and had to be up and running by 6:00am.

the level of unprofessionalism in that field is astounding.
