so I was wrong after all about cops not being *** holes

!$%!@$& :fustrated I know some of u guys might think I must be stupid posting this and swearing at an officer... but this is just getting way out of hand

fucken cop today gave me an improper muffler ticket
****** saw me crusing down leslie.... down hill not even on the gas... actually on my brakes...... and ****** turn out from St Roberts at the light..... and turns on the light as soon as he gets behind me ... and I was already stopped at the ******* red light......
****** asks me to rev my car ..... while my car was already turned off since he ******* takes forever to walk over.... so I had to turn car back on and he made me rev my car so I did but it wasn't loud.... so he thinks... then after a few seconds he saids improper muffler...
what a ******* ***....

I asked him how he classified "Improper muffler" and he goes blank....... he can't even answer a simple question..... why doesn't he just go and tell me straight up that it's the end of the month and I just need to **** you over so I can meet my monthly quota...

and for all the smart *** out there DON'T tell me that ANYTHING that is NOT STOCK is IMPROPER coz if that's the case then canadian tire, midas, speedy.....etc should all be out of business
or if u say coz my aftermarket exhaust makes noise... then what the **** are all the trucks, buses, mustangs, cameros, vipers ..... doing on the ******* road? and those are all stock! I can bet anyone that my exhaust is no where near as loud as what the viper makes....

oh ya one more thing.... the guy didn't even fill out the ticket properly .... it's missing my driver's licence no.....
this kind of BS is going to make the whole police department look bad... first "racial profilling" and now "VEHICLE PROFILLING"

5 fucken years with this car and never had anything BS like this...
got stoped a couple of times for routine check up and never have I had any problems with my modifications or exhaust....
and my fucken RECORD IS CLEAN!!!

I know how you feel....

On my 1st ticket I asked the cop whats wrong with my exhaust? She said that the tip is too big (3").

On my 2nd ticket the cop tells me to rev my car and he said that its making noise that its not supposed to???

On other times (twice) the cop was cool and just wanted to check that my exhuast was in proper working order.

Anyways I got tired of being followed, stopped, and going to court. So I finally gave up and decided to put my stock muffler back on. Funny thing is, my car is just as loud. Intake POWA

Roy, I bet your muffler isn't half as loud as this reject in an Integra who drives by my shop several times a day. It's so loud I've been tempted to throw a rock at his car as he goes by or write down his plate and rat him out, but that's not my style. But, it's guys like that who ruin it for everyone. I totally understand how you feel, there's plenty of worse shyt going on out there that the police could be taking care of.

well I think these cops are also the ones who's making everything think that ALL COPS are like that.... so in other words it is just like those ******* out there with LOUD *** FART CANS who ruins it for everyone else.....

oh ya... I KNOW THIS IS ******* BULL ****! coz when I was giving him my insurance papers... since I never threw out my old papers... he just said that there's too many paper and when I look through and find the right on to give it to him in his car.... I'm so pissed so I just picked one and gave it to him ... and he DIDN'T EVEN LOOKED at it.... it wasn't the correct one (expired last year)
**** man I know it's the end of the month and stuff but why don't these ******* just go do some USEFUL things and catch the speeders and the agressive drivers and all the broken taillights and all those ******* who don't signal when they change lanes or turn....

Its not fair..., I have a neighbor that drives an old Camaro and his buddy that drives a Chevy (forgot what kind). They take these cars to the track, but its also daily driven. They're cars are so fooking loud, I can FEEL they're exauhst from my room when they come down my street. Anyways these guys told me they haven't had problems yet with cops giving them tickets for improper exhuast.

I feel that often times import cars in general are targeted by cops for such tickets. They see an import car and think that the driver races the car, therefor must have illegal parts.

if the parts are deemed to be illegal, then why are they being sold legally? that's what I don't understand.

One thing I don't understand is, cops are now pulling over the clean looking cars, why would they bother some almost stock looking cars, are they getting smarter or picking on hondas. Oh well, must be the end of the month.

a lot of parts that aren't legal, for example, underbody neon kits, the windshield washer light things, etc all state on the package that they are for "offroad use only" now i don't know if its the same for other parts like mufflers and such, but thats how they're still able to sell the parts. they get their money, and don't get in **** after.

I would throw the ticket in the garbage, you will never hear anything about it again... I got a 300$ speeding ticket once, the cop put the day in the month box, and the month in the day box, so the date of the ticket wass messed...anyway, its been 3 years now, havent gotten a letter or anything saying to pay it...To be on the safe side you can go to court, and it wont even be considered...

The worse thing about all this bullshit is the sheer hypocrisy. If the powers-that-be just came out and said: ...we will tax you by targetting everything that we can grab some cash' -- I would at least respect that. It's just their ******* self-righteous attitude, ther worst of which was exhibited at Darknights this year. Young guys getting tickets for 4" banners! Ridiculous! Then the cops on the evening news saying they were responsible for a strong detterent, blah, blah, blah!

If they just said it was an easy tax on an easy target, that'd be fine with me. It's just the lie hiding behind 'the law' that pisses me off soooooooo much

yup as some said above if there is even one thing not properly filled out on the ticket, then it's not valid and will be thrown out of court....no questions asked

the cops have to have every detail filled out correctly for the ticket to be valid
