remembering old times.....
 

I just decided to go back to the original YAHOO civic club, the one that started all you see here. WOW it was a blast from the past, our first meets and stuff. The first post was 5/26/2001 I first posted on 6/26/2001.

It is funny to see people talking about the site being built, that we should have stickers, and what people look like so we can know who we were in the 5-10 car meets we used to have. I got pix of those meets too.

There was only 32 members on that site WOW the good old days when it didn't take hours to look through what others had to say, and we were all meeting for the first time.

Who would have known then that we would be this big now, I mean we were trying to find places to meet and when to do it because not everyone could make it. Now it doesn't matter there are so many people there will always be someone there. But when you have 5-10 people you all have to make it.

look at the photos I was like the main photo taker then, I stopped because so many people got pissed at me for taking pix of their cars.

Cantonagod: "Actually where I live it is mainly mustangs, camaros and trans ams (G.M. town).But there are quite a few imports. There are the same races out here but it is mainly north american cars."

Regarding Physical appearance

Cantonagod: "Hi everyone. It looks like I am the old man of
the group but just as crazy about civics as the rest. I am hoping to make it on Saturday. If I can I am white about 5'10" with a shaved head and have a black 98si with not much done yet. And probably the only one with a child seat in the back."

that's pretty cool, in some ways you could say it got ruined from the original concept, but in other ways I guess it's better.

well with the close net people it does still have the good old feeling.
