ordering online from the states

I found this site online where i could get a wicked deal on some car audio. But it's in the U.S., After I proceed to check out the final price including shipping was excellent. I was wondering, dont you have to pay tax when it crosses the boarder? It said my card would be charged 320 US which when you convert it I would save like $150, but do I have to pay tax or no? The store is not including any on their invoice, what are they gonna do? keep my deck at the boarder and tell me to come pay tax and get it? if anyone knows let me know please.

I deal with this all the time.

If they ship by FED EX. Fed Ex will send you a bill later by there own customs agency.

If they deal with UPS or Post Office, you have to pay cash upfront when you receive it in the exact amount.

I always ask them to declare it as a gift so there isn't as much charges if any to the item you are receiving. Just ask them to do that.

you think so? you really think an audio shop isn't gonna cooperate because of the war? i heard about that gift thing before, i'm not sure if these guys would do that, i'll give it a try and see what they say.

some places are alright, i know that www.etronics.com usually includes all tax with the price you pay them, that way you don't have any surprise costs when it comes for you to pick it up.... otherwise you're going to pay tax and duty...

Ya if they're willing to put it as a gift your set, but the problem is that most companies won't do that, guess cause its weird that a company is sending a gift lol

k sending as a sample = no tax,

because they are allowed to send samples, (companies do send samples dont they? )

gift maybe

so sample is the best to go
