Need Tech Help: MS Office Installer

Whenever I open an Office document, the installer pops up. I've tried installing the Cleanup utility and no luck. Any help is appreciated!

open it with admin rights and keep clicking okay.

you might have to pop in the CD.

next time, instead of 'typical install' do 'complete' and say no to removing installer/setup files

this was a big issue with 2000.

the first time a user runs any office application, it wants to run a few 'installers' even though you can function by just clicking cancel.

if you pop in the cd and just keep clicking OKAY instead of cancel, they'll stop coming.

Yeah I tried to log in with Admin rights, but the problem is that the computers is an image of another user's in Australia. It has a banking application that uses half a partition of the hard disk as a subsystem, and I don't have the administrator password. The computer is 2 years old and with their password policies it was likely lost in the iterations.

I did find a fix though, I restored the system to July 1st when there was no problem and it did the trick.

I also managed to get a link to Download MS Office 03 Automatically, so if this comes up again I'm safe.

Thanks for the help guys.
