Need Clarification

Can someone please tell me exactly what the following stand for...im trying to settle a debate with a fellow Civic Driver...

What do EK, EG, SIG, etc stand for?

I'm pretty sure they're just chassis codes. I could be wrong?

EK and EG are honda models for civics...EG is a 92-95 civic

SIG is a trim level...not sure which gen possibly 7?

SiG is a model.... it's only in Canada and it's an Si with ABS and A/C

the other two are chassis codes, two totally different things...

group package options available on the Si.. (a/c and abs..and anything else that was offered..)
Gen7 had a G package as well, but the Veloz was yet a step above ..the body kit and some CF trim pieces

EH is for north america....eg is the JDM version.

People use the JDM lingo becuse it's cool.

cosmic has an EH......but i know in he calls it a EG sometimes.

It the same body style.

maybe it depends where the car was built???....cause my car is an EG...usdm but was manufactured in Japan

were all 93-95's built in Japan too?
