mini trip advise

So as the weather is going to be getting better soon, I am wanting to go on a little driving adventure with teh wife. I know a lot of people on here have either gone or know of people that have gone on some road trips. time frame will most likely be 3-4 days leaving on a friday morning and returning on monday early eve.

Now aside from buffalo, montreal, ottawa, ect, does anybody have some ideas for me. The purpose will of course be shopping and some entertainment. I was thinking new york but she doesn't want to do 8 hours for a 2 day stay and then drive 8 hours back.

let's see what you gotz peoples and thanks in advance.

cheers

go to cedar point (ohio), i went on a weekend trip to cedar point with the wife and a bunch of friends and it was a blast, but i LOVE rollercoasters. It was about 5 hours away.
The wife goes twice a year to Erie, Pennsylvania to go shopping, Grove City if i remember correctly. She always comes home with a ****load of crap and brags about how little she spent on the stuff. I think she said its only 3-4 hours away and there are lots of accomodations near by. If SHE can get there and back, it must not be too difficult to get there, she's brutal with directions.

so far i look into grove city for the shopping and mapquest says it's only 4.5 hours away. I'm sure my civic can bring that time mark down though. wonder what else there is to do though in pa. keep the ideas coming guys/girls unless your going to suggest stradford.

thanks

sounds good if you're in to the whole "river runs through it" type deal. I always wanted to try fly fishing......and yes i was dumb enough to look it up but only cause i forgot where it was. i knew i was bound for failure though..haha

Stay in Ontario. Why drive 8 hours when you can go to Blue Mountain or the Millcroft Inn. Or if I was to go anywhere, it would be Mont Tremblant.

IT'S ACTUALLY TO TAKE THE WIFE SHOPPING...I JUST LIKE DRIVING IN DIFFERENT AREAS OR DRIVING PERIOD. BASED ON MY RECENT FINDINGS, IF WE MAKE IT HAPPEN THEN WE WILL GO ON THE MAY 24 WEEKEND AND WE WILL HEAD DOWN TO GROVE CITY OUTLET MALL IN PA, STAY THE NIGHT, SIDE TRACK OVER TO CEDER POINT IN OHIO since it will be freshly opened, STAY THE NIGHT, AND THEN COME BACK HOME.

tHANKS FOR THE IDEAS EVERYONE AND HAPPY MOTORING!
