Math Guys, does this seem right
I am trying to figure out the diameter of the pipe used on my dads stock exhaust system. I measured the cirfumfrence of the pipe and got 19.6cm around.
I found the formula C/D = pie
So I know C = 19.6 and Pie = 3.14
So D = C / Pie
19.6 / 3.14 = 6.24cm diameter
convert that to inches and its about 2.45" diameter, does that sound right?

right, but keep in mind that you measured the circumference of the outside, so you knwo the outside diameter (which is what is used to measure tubing) piping is measured in inside diameter, which is slightly smaller than what you got from the calculation since you have to subtract the thickness of the walls

yea math sucks unless u are a teatcher or a roclet science why u need pi or any of that **** u get a piece of paper wrap it around the mufler then mark it then go 2 crappy tire and get the pipe that lookes the closest and then wrap the paper around it if they are the same walla ther is your measurment on the tag hahahhaa
