Honestly get a used stone... they come a lot cheaper, and then just get it set in a new band. No sense in buying a brand new diamond and seeing your hard earned dollars depreciate by like 33% right after you buy it ( Talk Re-sale Value) Or I say get her a fake diamond! its only a promise ring, then get her a real one come time for the wedding lol

Not looking at spendign too much. It's more the thought of it then the actual ring itself....although i would prefer if it were a nice one. My price range is like up to $400...so not too cheap but not too cheap either. I'm in the gta. I would norally never get one fo these as i see them as pointless...but she wants one and yes she's a keeper....so i said whatever i'll give her one. But i'm looking for a ring with a princess cut diamond...so square...and white gold band.

Moe mentum mentioned getting a used stone and getting set in a new band....where can i do this?

the problem with jewlery is its market up so high its retarted, i have a friend who sells it, i got my 3g ring for bout 400 brand new... so key is to find someone you know or someone knows - not the peoples jewlers n **** like that

Any Jewler should be able to set a stone onto a band. Just go to a jewlery store and pick a band you like. Most of the time when you buy a ring, those aren't the real diamond that are in the rings on display. Just an example of what it could look like. When you pick a band, then you select the type of cut and diamond you want, as well as size. Most jewlery stores are like this.
