Liberal government ONCE again going back on promise

Here we go again.. they're going back on their electrical price freeze promise.

Toronto Star posted headlines of the rates going up.. and even more increases come 2005.

I wanted PC government to be back in power cuz I didn't mind them! I didn't notice anything bad back in high school or anything.

Now all you ******* that voted Liberals.. I hope you're happy with your cig price increases... your higher tax rates... and your higher electrical bill. I've lost count of all the promises they've broken already!

Stupid Liberals.. what's wrong with the PC government? It was going fine.. just because they didn't do too much, doesn't mean they're WORSE than the Liberal government.
Just because your schools are crusty doesn't mean you have to be bitter with the PC government... I rather have my schools crusty instead of paying more bills.

BAHHHHHH!

Glad you agree with me.
I don't expect much.. except my tax rates to stay the same or go down.. not to go up. AND my electricity rate to be frozen.

I voted GREEN I wanted a radical change.
The only problem with the "green" party is that they have no political experience.

I think they would **** things up more.

I would never vote NDP either... NDP would hike taxes for the rich and spend $$$ on homeless bums that have no future anyways! They'd get all the homeless people of the streets and throw them in Ontario Housing!
I don't think I'd want my tax dollars spent in that way. I'm not radical enough to say I want all the bums of our streets and in housings provided by my $$$.

When squeegie kids come to my car.. I usually get out of my car and tell them to **** off.. cuz they don't seem to get the point... and it's always the same guy doing it.. (Bay street and Lakeshore.. I pass by there several times a week)

PC PC PC! I'm with the BLUE party

it doesn't matter which party u voted for, they would all back down on their promises.. it's the ones would pack down the least that we want to vote for.

PC conservatives are more corporate oriented, they want to help out businesses so the businesses help out the lil people.

Liberal are the opposite, help the lil people, hurt the businesses.

Wow NoSpleeny something we agree on, PC all the way for me. As for NDP, they don't take from the rich (because rich people have many loop holes), they take from the middle class (which is most of us !!!!)...

you have a point but the funding for public transit would increase and thats good for me...

plus I knew they weren't going to get in so I voted for them so that I'd have the right to complain about which party got in

Kent you're a dumb ****!

If you bothered to read that article you would have noted a few things, such as PC's privatization of Hydro (which was the result of political corruption) the black out from earlier this year, and the massive deficit the Liberal government inherited from you beloved PC government.

I don't expect much from you since you think with your head up your ***.

for the record, I voted Green Party, I too am for radical change.

The Green Party as far as I know are the only party that isn't on the take.

lol, I didn't vote green because I expected them to win this election... I voted for them because in 10-20 years when environmental issues become a major issue... (i have no idea why an issue like environment cycles in popularity) ...we will need an opposition party to argue environmetnal ideas.

GREEN PARTY

I agree with you JSK the PC's have fucked up .... the privatization of profitable things like the talk of the LCBO is just dumb....

and the hydro stuff don't they learn from other examples...

although the finance minister (the new liberal dude) Admitted that the 5.6 billion deficit was a projected deficit and that the PC's ended their rule in the black still....

I really dislike the liberal Idea of raising all the friggin' taxes. to pay for stuff that will not help the public like the 20 kids per class cap WTF??? it is not any better then the 30 kids per class and a reducation in the kids per teacher ratio only starts to pay off when you get down around 10 kids per teacher.

it's funny that they haven't kept any campaign promises so far.... I mean they sign with the tax payers association saying hey we ain't raising taxes then this week they do... WTF???

People have got to learn that increased services = increased taxes.... plain and simple if they understand that concept then they will be smart voters. simply put the government should only offer the following serivices..

1) licensing and people tracking (birth/death records etc.)
2) protecting the public (military)
3) foriegn policy (trade)

everything else privatize ... we would then pay like 10% tax and anything else you needed you could get from private instutions...

I sound so PC like there. but it's a fact that before governemtns got into the services industry taxes were unheard of except war time. well I say we push back towards that.

imagine keep all that cash you pay them well you put part of it away (like 25%) to pay for medical costs and junk that might crop up and the rest ytou have a nice time with saving for homes would be easy saving for a car no problem.

I'm just ranting herte
