I just came home and i go to log onto icq and it has been deleted or something.
Its like someone had totally uninstalled it or deleted it off their program. I am so confused.
Could this be a hack job?

It could be anything, someone couldve hacked your computer, and if that is the case i suggest you get a firewall, zonealarm pro is a good one to use, or blackice.
Someone in your family, or whoever you live with could've deleted it as well. Try reinstalling icq, and see if that does anything if it doesn't then ur **** outta luck, sorry dude.

There are many factors that could have your ICQ go missing, but if you are afraid of a hacker, always turn your computer off when you are away from it. I have a firewall and someone still managed to get into my system, luckily I caught them browsing and ran a scan, they had already altered my Master Boot records.
Run a virus scan on your system, and reinstall ICQ.

i believe they have an online database where all ure contacts are stored!
so u never lose them if something fu<k$ up!

if u reeally dont care about advanced options and stuff like that
u can always use icq on the web, without downloading anything at all
