there are lots of high end hybrids...like the lexus...that thing dont look econo

that's true actually...however I think when most people think hybrid, they think Prius...

why prius? the insight was first to market. prius is a follower

hmmm maybe because it's a sedan and more practical than an insight, but then again we have the Civic GX hybrid...

I think hybrids are fascinating. I'd love to rock an Insight one day.

Well, I'm fairly certain the Prius has had a longer run, as well sold more (likely for the reasons you stated)...

the insight, while cool (looked like a CRX), seemed more like a "proof of concept" rather then a serious effort...

but ya, I'd like to try an Insight...

I wonder if anybody has converted an insight to be a plug in hybrid yet, that would be cool
