How long to you boil an egg for hard & soft boiled eggs??

How long to you boil an egg for hard & soft boiled eggs??

anyone know how long you boil an egg if you want a hard boiled egg that your gonna cool in the fridge before eating?? and also how long to you boil an egg for a soft boiled egg that you can open up and the white is cooked but the yellow is still liquid to dip toast in for example??

Eggs and soldiers as my grandma called them!!

soft boiled is 3 minutes i believe.. hard boiled is 6 mins

ok here we go:

take ur eggs and put them in cold water and turn the stove on. When the water begins to boil.........


wait about 3-5 min for soft boiled

5min plus for hard boiled.


remember that it depends on how hot/efficient your stove is.

put the egg in the water(cold or warm), water must be fully cover the egg, when the water start boiling, count 3.5 min...........

mississauga. So you boil a egg until the outside is hard and the yoke is still watery then u crack it and use the yoke for a dipping type thing?

yea u take bred and cut it into fingers then tost them and then dip them in the runny goodness and there u are done


i hate yokes tho white only 4 me

best way for hard boiled eggs is to put the egg in cold water, add a bit of salt, then when the water boils wait 10 mins then put the egg under cold water right away
