Help Choosing a Phone - blackberry or something
Hey Guys
I am in need of some assistance. I am looking for a phone like a blackberry that can DO MSN and hotmail aswell as browse the interent. I do not need it for phone as I have the City Fido package for unlimited package for $45 / month.
I know that there are different backberry with different speed. I want the fastest most reliable. I do use the interent a lot so I will need alot of space on a data plan.
Any help would be great as People at Best Buy and futureshop contradic eachother.
Thanks for your time

iphone...best web browser on a mobile device PERIOD!!! but then pay out the bum for data...or 65bucks a month for 1gb from Teddy Rog (rogers)
msn via http://iphone.beejive.com
hotmail via www.hotmail.com or set it up via the email client application on the phone to pull email from the server

I'd recommend a Nokia E series or BB 8800..both can be purchased in unlocked form, ready to go with Fido...Fido even offers a BB package for the E series nokia (I think the E61/62)

the touch screen keyboard i find is great, I can bang out messages with ease one handed or 2 handed in landscape mode...I dont know how anybody has a problem with the touchscreen keyboard...its smart as hell and it makes typing long things quite easy...like this post right here

the full size blackberrys are good, the Pearls/suretype keyboards aren't that great I've found. Having used the iPhone/iPod Touch's keyboard, its definitely way better then the Pearls, which is just awkward...
if you do lots of typing, I'd go 8800...

none of those options have a native MSN client, all rely on either web interfaces or 3rd party apps (BB)...all will work, but from my experience is only "pretty good", not excellent...
If you want native MSN, you'd have to go Windows Mobile...but then you'd have to have a Windows mobile phone...yuck!

or maybe u have old bunk firmware versions...when I'm on msn on my iphone people dont even know cuz i can bang out responses so quick y0...its an accurate and fast keyboard that learns your words and auto corrects for you so if for instance you are spelling "birthday" and you type in buethsat cuz you have fat fingers or are a sloppy typer...birthday will still come out...its almost like it knows what you wanna say

maybe...I did only try it for like 20 min...but I thought it was harder then a T9 keypad, lol...my Treo and other QWERTYs after it I picked up in seconds...even the iphone/touch keypad...

trust me
after using the pearl for a while when suretype learns your words its awesome
i had to get used to using a full qwerty on my curve after i stopped using the pearl
it was actually akward for me to type on a full qwerty lol
also typing one hand on the pearl is much easier
