Help with Cell Phone!!!
I have a Bell Mobility cell phone that I would like to use but I am with Telus...
Is there any way to somehow make this phone work with telus?? Thanx a bunch, Joana |
short answer ----> no
long answer ----> it would involve telus entering the ESN into their system. it would also involve a time consuming PRL list update. most CDMA canadian companies don't allow the movement of phones from one network tot he next because of liability as well.. say person A steals person B's cell phone.. Person B de-activates and Person A shouldn't be able to re-activate if companies allowed the phone to move to another company there would be no tracking in place to see if the phone was stolen from Person B.... and companies don't want to be precieved as allowing this or even help grow an illegal industry. |
damn it :(
oh well... |
get a GSM provider phone
ROGERS or something and unlock the phone and use it with multiple companies thats ur best bet |
