Post Good service / Poor service

When I walk into a store and inquire about products ( car alarms in this case ), all i ask is for something with a little more substance than one or two word answers.

I walk into nosh car audio up in newmarket, ( east side of yonge st., north of mulock, south of eagle) and all this employee chooses to tell me is that they carry 'code' (i could be wrong. forgetting the name brand) and 'alpine' alarms. And with nothing more than telling me the price and throwing his key fob on the desk, i'm supposed to base my purchasing decision on that??? And dont even get me started on his fellow coworker who was next to incoherent and mumbling when i inquired about piezo sirens.

I've been to some great places that provided excellent help and information even though you're not ready to buy anything. For me it's all about doing your homework and evaluating the service and the product that will eventually be purchased. It's these places that will get my business, as opposed to the other shitholes (nosh car audio in newmarket included) that i'll never step foot into again.

Anyone interested in contributing to this thread, whether it be a place they got good or bad service?

Sounds like they don't want your money by their attitude toward you! TO HELL WITH THEM!

The Internet is great for pre-purchase research. Doesn't cost anyone anything, and you get all the info you need!! Yeah, service SUCKS at some places.... I got mine done at Derand in Ottawa, AWESOME place - expensive, but amazing service. Very happy. BTW, when I was buying a new car, I was 17 at the time, and went car shopping by myself, I went to VW for the hell of it... they ignored me so I left went to the Honda dealer and signed papers the same day. Who knows, had they not ignored me, maybe I would have bought a Golf instead What an ugly thought
