I just got a temp plates when i brought the car. I know u can get temp plates of max 4 times. U have to get cert done 1st to get the other 3 times rite or the other way around? I forgot which 1 goes 1st. I think it is cert rite? I hope someone can answer me this simple question. Thanx.

from what i read it sounds like you want to know if you need a cert in order for you to get temp plates?
if thats the case wouldnt it defeat the purpose of a temp plate?

It's hard to read net lingo ie. 1 u = one you or u dun = you don't

Temp plates: Just an Cert. and insurance

If your buying the car as is and the ownership said 'unfit' you won't be able to get temps.

if the top of the ownership says pas-fit then you are allowed 1 temporary permit under this persons name. to get you 4 trip permits (4 per calendar year) you must have the ownership transfered to your name and have a safety on it. once you have it e-tested (before all 4 are up) you are then qualifed to get your plates.

i do recommend you get the trip permit and get the vehicle safetied right after (if possible) then you dont have to rush around last minuite.
