Police arrested 10 people for drag racing. More than 165 were booked on a variety of charges, including suspicion of trespassing, violating curfew and underage drinking, police said.

A little after midnight, officers opened the warehouse doors and more than two dozens patrol cars streamed out, blocking the racers' exits on the west and east sides of the street.

Heh its funny cause theyre sposed to be cracking down on street racing here but I witnessed a street racing accident near my house on saturday on the same street where 2 kids died in another racing accident 3 months ago. They really need to have cops stationed in this parking lot where all the guys fly by doing like 140 in a 50...

I personally feel htat street racing is goign down hill ...all the dudes that were young and stupid doing it for the past couple years are getting sick of it and are realizing how stupid it is and are maturing...I feel it is decreasing alot....2 to 3 years ago it was insane from F&tF and all the kids of our generation gettign let in on that old under ground thing.....people are jsut getting older and wiser hopefully the generation after us dosent' do what we did....we made it a sensation and somethign to be resepcted when really it's so fuckgin pointless and has nothing to do with my daily life of going to work and tryign to survive....there will alwasy be peoepl who race but it isn't cool anymore...peopel are getting older gettign better faster cars that they take to the track to race not jsut 14 sec b16's on the street....peoepl are makign sleepers know and arent' baiting themselves by racing....
