i guess some of you don't know, but downtown does suck.

i went to barrie for a night, went to 5 clubs/pubs, had a hotel and ate 3 meals, and i spent less than i would have going out downtown toronto.

barrie has changed.. we got jamaican food.. in barrie... i remember back in the day, you could go to barrie and look for 'the' black guy.

reasons why toronto sucks

1. too many damn people
2. parkin is a whoore
3. living there is expensive (insurance, houses etc)
4. houses have no yards
5. downtown people think they are cool
6. china town and kensington market
7. having to rely on public transit
8. ginos with rod stewart hair
9. homeless people
10. its far from my house hahaha

downtown FTL

ya from that perspective downtown definitly sucks, never cheap...

haha, last time I was in Barrie there were more snowmobiles parked outside the beer store than there were cars...lol...

Barrie has definitly gotten better tho, havne't been up there pub'ing, should probably give it a try...

i need to find a good trance club that isn't filled with people on e or meth.

dark trance.. not "euro trance".... that isn't trance.. that's dance music

regardless, the word is, downtown TO sucks.

in the most parts i agree but it depends on what ur lookin to do ... partying wise .. wide selection .. but some clubs are wacker than others and for newb's it can be a ***** to find the right one ..if ur lookin for sights .. food .. and touristy stuff then T.O. is just as good as any other city in canada .. minus Sherbourn+Dundas called it!

eh. no more metal scene. 107 turned to a fred durst crowd

phoenix stopped allowing moshing, then started getting rid of rockers and playing britany spears on 'new rock and alternative nights'

queen st is still alright, but those aren't really clubs... more like lounges

----

you can't go to a house/trance/techno place without it being $15-$20 cover unless you know someone, and $6 beers, and lots of people on uppers

----

any hiphop kind of place has people giving eachother dirty looks cause they all think the other guy wants to fight them for some reason

---

eh, no good. college st i am a fan of... everyone there is there to have a good time.. and there is a good variety...

i think i'm just getting old.....

bahaus on mondays, fluid on wednesdays were both always good times.. they still around?
