does this make sense?
taken from a travel report from a government website.

is it not retarded, taht you have to be single or married (straight) to travell to certain places, it just doenst seem normal to me.
why would they give a **** about individuals marital status, he/she is just a tourist and sending them jail for that, just dont give them visa.

it's retarded that having consentual sex with another adult can have have you executed, but bringing in an Uzi will make put you in jail and give you a fine.

It just goes to show you how Religion plays such a dominant role in society. I'd be willing to bet you that those laws apply to many of the muslim nations.
Although I must say I do agree with them on homosexuality and prostituion. But death is a little harsh.

Religion plays a huge role here in Pembroke/Petawawa. I think there's like 10 or 12 different churches for maybe 35,000 people. There's a town bylaw banning strip joints, exotic pets (lizards, snakes, etc), 4 wheelers trails.
If you wanted to go to the strip joint you would have to either go to North Bay (3hrs)or Ottawa (2hrs). A pet snake Renfew (1hr), and a 4 wheeler trail (20 min to Chalk river)
Religion has a huge say in the town/area here.
