i dunno, just wondering. What do you mostly do, and how do you like it?
I don't work at a shop but I'm looking into it and I just wanted to see within
the TCC community how it is.

I work at a honda dealer. Im just an apprentice right now so its mostly oil changes, tires and whatnot. If youre looking to get into it, prepare to be everyones biatch for the first few years. Overall though, its a very good place to work at, fun people and the money you save on your own car is awesome!

Doing a back breaking job for the next twenty years doesn t sound like fun... If you are still young, aim as high as you can achieve.

All of my mechanic friends wish they considered their future over their hobbies.

I work at the kia dealership in cobourg. I have been around cars all my life. always hated hondas.....but love em now lol. I was working as a diesel apprentice and bought a 91 si hatch with a dohc zc and i loved it till i sold it and bought something bigger. being an apprentice at kia is a plus i save so much money on upgrading my car. i love it..

I did my apprenticeship for a year. I love cars and working on them but, after awhile it loses its fun. My advice would be, if you are really considering it, try it. Then make your mind. If you play it right you can get an apprenticeship soon then if you dont like it, you can still apply for school in September. Just be prepared for most of the mechanics bad mouthing the job and telling you to stay in school. But, the savings are awesome! lol.

Good luck bro.
