Blind Date
SO last night my friend Lara got set up on a blind date and asked me to go as her wing-woman and be set up with his friend. Her guy was super nice, good looking and they hit it off really well. His friend on the other hand, was really ugly, really stupid and worked as a sausage maker for his dads business. I really didn't know what to do or say all night cause Lara was caught up in her guy and I didn't want to wreck it for her. (take one for the team, you know). So I ended up drinking WAY to much and spending the rest of the night starting meaningless conversation about sausage and how its made and whatnot even though I didn't care and was dying inside. I was like "so what does sausage feel like when you make it? Do you like the feeling of sausage in your hand?" then i would crack up laughing. The guy would answer my questions so seriously I couldn't even help but make fun of him. 
(I am so mean. I know.) At the end of the night she was proud of me for sticking it out and owes me LARGE. Anyone else had bad blind dates before?

What's wrong with sausage making and the meat business??
Husband does it, and boy do we eat well. Plus it is a great money making trade because it is no longer trained in any school in Canada.
Never had a blind date myself though.

ive been in a situation like that before....only thing is..i had to stay sober. We went to the movies and my friend paid for his date..and i guess she wanted me to pay for her, shame i didnt remember her name as it looked like she wanted me to pay for her 
..boring *** girl..the only thing that made me pay attention to her..was when she told me..she gave some guy head in a open field. i knew her name then

I once went on a date with a girl I met on ICQ. She seemed a lot more quiet than online and she liked me, but I couldn't do it. But I still treated her the whole day of chatting, watching movie, decent dinner and whatnot.
I can't say I didn't have fun, but only if she would talk and open herself a bit more.

yes I've been set up on bad blind dates..... I just ussually inform the person setting me up that I'll never do it again (if they try to set me up again)

as for sausages and the meat business.. I've only met one guy that actually knew what he was doing in the meat business...(but then again I only talk directly to him when I go to Allan's butcher shop in Whitby)

mmmm...meat, allen butcher shop is on my street
anyways, i know a guy who only goes on blind dates, its messsed up, i'll be at his house and be on msn, leave the room and then he'll msg some random person who is obviosly a chick(eg. sexy_angel@hot...) and he starts a convo, adds them to his list, then eventually he'll invite them over or go out somewhere..
apparently this works, cayse hes slept with 3 or 4 girls that he met over msn form other peeples lists. as a matrter of fact he met his GF right now thru msn
its pretty creepy if u think about it:S
