Black steelies
 

well, after some debating, i've been forced to drive my car this winter against my will. i didn't plan on driving this winter, so now i have to winterize my car. get it sprayed and buy winters.

i just put on my black steelies for the first time. it looks hardcore...i was surprised....i was going to put the hub caps on, but i'm glad i didn't.

now i understand why people are interested in buying black rims.

anybody else like the black steelie look????

yea.. before i hated that look... but now i know why people do it... my good friend says makes up some line bout why i do it. but i do it cause it looks tight IMHO... :)

Well.. civics originally do come with black steelies. heh.

I saw a BMW Z3 on Friday night downtown with steelies.. that car looked phucking gay. The steelies were for winter I bet but that car looked GAY!!! Steelies are ok on like cars like ours.. but if you drive a performance car.. steelies don't match.

Can you imagine seeing a Ferrari or McLaren with steelies? If I ever saw one.. I'd fall over laughing.:D

yup, i ride on steelies every winter (even tho i drive my car like 10 times the whole winter) but ya it looks better than with hubcaps, unless u paint them gunmetal which is what i did and it looks pretty sick heh, however my gunmetal rims r coming in the spring:D

Can't say that i'm down with steelizes. They don't look bad, but i like the look of a lowered car on their stock tires..for the winter only...when summer hits it's time for real rims and rubber!!

My 2 cents

I personally like the look of steelies in the winter way more than factory tires, cuz usually factory tires are ugly hubcaps that every ricer has.... that's my biggest deal with not putting hubcaps on.... also it kinda shows that you have something nice for the winter and you're not being stupid by riding normal rims even if they are factory in the winter...

James saw your car the other day, looks good with the steelies, Bo and I have dropped the steelies on too. what a different ride , but still looks good :thumbup:

Steelies with winters are a badge of honour. Shows you got some classy rims for Spring, Summer and Fall.

I ride with hub caps does that make me any less of a man :p

Or it could be a Badge of Honour. Shows you got NO RIMS but another set of steelies for the Spring, Summer, and Fall. ;)

Yes, only if they are on a stock looking car! No aftermarket body kits! "Thank God":rolleyes:

Cars with kits do not look right with steelies! If you can't afford rims and like the "stock look" stick with the steelies. Looks pretty good!:thumbup:
