pop your own popcorn at home and bring a 2L of pop and some cups and the movies is good to go...all in a back pack that they never check...thats how we roll to the movies...and for candy, hit up bulk barn first

I used to work at a movie theater, so from what i know from training, they make about 20% of their profit from the movies and 80% from the popcorn sales...

Pretty much, movie is just to attract a buncha ppl to buy the popcorns... yeah, the mark up on the popcorn must be at least 500%
