Benefits- Health Care

For those that do not have benefits through your employer, do any of you purchase benefits from a company?

Let me know if you do, if so, where? how much? etc.

I think I pay like $4 a paycheck and it's a comprehensive coverage plan.
(dental, eye, medical, etc)

I think there are a variety of companies that 'sell benefits'...I think Green Shield is one (I might be wrong, going from memory)..

I'm also interested if anyone has any experience...

No it's not.

The actual charge is like $33 a cheque but the company pays like $28.63 or something.

I've already used the dental/health stuff already.

I don't think thats the same as what the OP was referring to...also I doubt you could get that kind of 'benefit rate' as an individual...
