Back to School
Ok so you hear a back to school commercial on the radio or whatever or see all the stuff in the stores. Do you get like depressed for an instant but then remember that you work and it doesn't matter and get like happy?
But then do you think "Damn it would be cool to go back for a day" and then think about yourself being in school for a while lol? Its happened to me a few times this year already.

i don't like "back to school" b/c that means more traffic going to and from downtown. but i like "back to school" b/c that probably means there will be less ppl at the gym in the mornings.
yeah, i hear a lot of working ppl saying they miss school. i don't think i will ever say, "i miss school". after 25 consecutive years in school...i've had more than my share.

school was the best.... do nothing, get decent marks, get drunk all the time, no worries
now 100% of my income is no longer reserved for alcohol, smokes, and trips, plus I have to be up, dressed and somewhere with people before noon.
highschool was pretty good... university was better...
you people are crazy

Now I find its best to bunch all of my courses together as night courses. I waste less time hanging around the university.

Being in university still, I've questioned the necessity of going to lectures. Sometimes I end up feeling like its not even going to imporve my mark significantly.

I agree, large lectures that you find in early years are not as valuable (like ones with 200-400 people in them)...
However, in later years, I found the ones where there were less then 20 people to be pretty beneficial, where discussions would happen, or you would be forced to listen..
