Anyone catch the CBC report on street racing??
What do you guys think about it?
All I can say is, ******* race on the track, that's why it's called a "track"
I hardly want my car towed because it's been "modified for speed" and be required to walk or bus home, when police decide enough is enough (as it already has begun in another province in Canada).
It's just ridiculous...

I saw it, everything that has to do with modifying imports is being seen in the negative nowadays. Organized deserted street racing on deserted roads isn't the cause of deaths, it's the idiots that race in the middle of traffic. They focused on the life of the gguy in the integra too much. The CTV special was better, even though it too was BS, it was based in Toronto.

It's called 'journalese'. An idea presents itself. It becomes the germ of a story. The story is expanded upon. Voila! A self-fullfilling prophecy for the journalist.
Far too many news programs for the number of actual stories these days. The CBC, however, can do news with the best of them.
I wish I had seen the story. Can't stand to watch the CBC after the infamous 9/11 'Town Hall' three days after the attack. The producer of that slice of genius is still taking flack in the media.
