Hi Guys

I have a Motorola V635 and i would like to get it unlocked. Do you guys know of any good stores / locations around eaton centre or elsewhere in downtown toronto where i can get this done.

Plz let me know....any names or phone numbers will be really helpful.

at fairview mall one of those wireless wave places does it for $20 i think

Ok...i checked wireless wave and telephone booth...they wont unlock any phone...nor circuit city. Infact the guy at wireless wave almost panicked...as if im having an illegal conversation.

i found one booth at eaton centre (like those who in the middle of the way inside malls) and the guy said $40 with a one year warranty. He said i can get it done perhaps cheaper at china town or a similar place ($15 or so) but then told me that the phone camera and video player may freeze later on....

i dont know anything about this...i cant imagine why the phone will malfunction with unlocking.....

so the search is still on to unlock my rogers phone...its a V635 and i dont wanna pay more than $20 all in.

u can mess up the phone during an unlock so ur better off getting it done by a reputable shop....enough times have those chinese mall places turned phones into paperweights

just go to pacific mall, they unliock phones for 20 dollars

i just unlocked my phone at pacific mall for $20. as soon as you go in the main doors in front turn right and walk up the last hall and you will find a place called GOSU mobile solution.

so it seems like that the pacific mall option is alright and no problems so far with those who have unlocked their phone.

ill be damned if the phone gets screwed up afterwards

no problems unlocking it.

i go to a guy named Nabeel (dunno how to spell it).

Hes located in rexdale, in the plaza on hwy 27 / finch next to quiznos.

too bad you don't have a sony ericsson, I unlocked my phone by buying this kit off ebay for $20 (I think it came to around $25 with shipping and all that).....now I can unlock a bunch of phones, do firmware upgrades, reset stuff....
