75lbs pitt pulled 13,042lbs thats 173 times its own body weight. Another 31lbs pitty pulled 244 times its body weight in a competition. I doubt any man could do that on a daily basis.
Theres a reason why cops and protection companys and warehouse and factorys use guard dogs, because first off there completely loyal and fearless. Unlike some people.

That is the difference. The dog doesn't understand consequence and will do what it has been taught to do.

Strength in proportion doesn't matter. Ants are stronger proportionately to their body size, it does not mean they can compete physically with a human, dog, lion, or gorilla.

This discussion has reached a level of stupidity I would expect from a religion thread. Why are you typing?

She didnt like being in her crate and howled like crazy. Now, as soon as she hears my keys rattle, she goes in the crate on her own. She knows not to go on the furniture and if I do leave her out of her crate when I go out, she has never chewed on anything besides her toys. She hasnt peed or crapped in the house in over a year and she was sick when she did and she knew to go on the mat by the back door.
i didn't know you could even keep gods as pets.

I think it's very easy to train dogs to not go inside the house if you have the time.

All you gotta do is take them outside when they wake up, before they go to sleep, before they eat, and after they eat when they're puppies. my dog who lived to 12 years only went twice in the house. once he was trying to open the door to the patio and crying (i was assuming someone else would let him out - no one was home, i was hung over) - wasn't his fault, and the other time he **** on my playstation.. i assume this was not an accident but a message.

people who don't know how to deal with dogs are usually to blame for 'bad' dogs

i think getting a puppy and leaving it in a cage for 8 hours a day is cruel. if you don't have the time, don't get a puppy.

But you where saying how a man who works out is stronger then a dog, I was just throwing out some numbers to show how strong a little pit can be. I doubt the aveage guy who works out could pull over 13,000lbs any distance let alone do it if he only weighed 75lbs.

And some people would look at somebody who owned a dog in Canada and made it live outside for 12 years would call that cruel.

I hope like giving your dog a shortend life span while wrecking his joints??
Theres a proper way to let your dog pull weight and a wrong way. You should do some homework in'to that.

there are idiots everywhere. cool factor is more important than the health of their dog.

I'm saying it doesn't matter because a man who is 75lbs is not a man. I'm 225lbs and will never be frightened by a 75lbs dog unless it shoots bees out of its mouth and I don't think any other male human should fear for his life.

I hear you to many dip shts own performance dogs for all the wrong reasons.
I've owned pits my whole life and I don't fear any dog but I respect them. I weigh 200lbs and its not fat, but I would still rather take on a man my own size then a couple of killer pits or rottys.
Punches and kicks heal better then bite marks that require multiple stiches. Plus you can reason with a person, you can't do that with a dog that is seeing blood.

I was referring to one on one, or one human who is prepared to rob a house and knows there are multiple dogs. not one naked guy in the woods vs a pack of wolves.

----

have you trained them to not accept any food/treats from strangers?

I really want a dogo.. nice sized dog I can wrestle and play rough with.. looks like i'm getting a mini-schnauzer instead.

are staff terriors considered pit bulls in regarding to dalton mcguinty's ban?

All my dogs won't even take a treat from my Dad for gods sake. Thats what most people do when they break in'to a house with a big dog is throw food everywhere to distract them. I've seen it happen so I was ready for that.
I grew up beside my neighbour who had a Dogo. Good dog and very protective, there is'nt alot of difference between them and a pit I find.

Staffys are cousins of pittbulls, and they do fall under the law against pitt's. Any dog that looks like a pitt is under this gay law.
Either way it did'nt stop me from getting another pitt last year. I went to Montreal and picked her up, and before I got her informed my vet about what I was doing and he backed 100%! As long as your vet is cool you can get any dog.

actually it is a genetic mutation that happens ion some whippets where they become double muscled . They are considered a defect and normally cause the dog to have a shorter life span as there organs are norammly standard size and are not able to support the muscle . and I believe the term you were going for is literally ...
