Seen this post on another forum and thought it was an interesting question.

If you were given $500,000,000 to stay within your neighborhood and could never leave (except medical emergency) would you do it?

If so, how would you spend the money?

Don't you think you would get bored?


You cant leave, ever for any reason other than death, emergency and legal obligations like court summons.

Since I stay on the computer a lot, ya I could. Would that be cashiers check?

Buy all new stuff, computers, etc;? Bored, ya, sometimes.

I couldn't do it.

I need to drive... beyond my neighborhood. Couldn't live without road trips and cruises and Sunday drives.

I'm sure I could if I absolutely had to (natural disaster or something) but the money would be useless if I could spend it on cars that I could only drive a few kms.

WAIT!!!! YES!!!! I would build a road course race track! Alright, yes, I could do it!

If you can never leave the neighbourhood wtf are you going to do with all that money? Build a house that takes up the entire neighbourhood?
