He told me he was tired of dealing with people who try to talk him down cause they have no money, and then when he bends over backwards to do everything he can to help, they still talk **** on him later. one thread comes to mind, but I'm sure there are other reasons.

From my own experience some people are ret@rded. I always tried so hard for my customers. Then for $5 they show you no respect. It's very easy to price a job for less when its done by someone else. True craftsman are hard to come by. I'm sure deep down he still loves to do it and feels a pride in sharing his knowledge.
Most craftsmen have opportunities pop up for them all the time. Maybe this time the opportunity is better than the BS you get with dealing with ppl.
Z we've never met but your reputation precedes you. Good luck with your new venture.

Ya I've personally haven't met him but from what trunk_munkey n ol dusty posted I don't doubt he quit because of that. All these honda guys are so ****in cheap n don't want to pay for quality work, parts etcc. I don't blame him for not doing it anymore it's a shame but I wish zeeman all the best Ive always heard good things about his tuning and have nothing bad to say about him or the great work he's done for some of my buddies in the past. I wish he came back because I wanted him to tune my car but I guess that ain't happening now.

I had him tune and help me with my car several times, he is a great guy and always did top notch work. He has moved on to a career that he has schooling for. Glad I sold the turbo car and picked up my CBR 600RR days after knowing he was no longer available.

Honestly... this trade is full of shady people. Zeeman and myself are both a lot happier with what we do now.

Personally, I'd rather work at a high end dealer and deal with customers who actually want to spend money on their vehicle, than to deal with cheap *** honda customers that threaten to beat you with a golf club over 60 bucks..

I've enjoyed helping a lot of you guys out, those of you whom I became friends with can always, always call or PM me with your questions. I'm still around.. I still know everything about these cars.

You'll probably hear a few idiots bad-mouthing us, but the truth is, zeeman did not go bankrupt whatsoever. He was very busy when he decided to call it quits.

Don't worry Chris. There's always going to be people bad mouthing regardless of the quality of work you do. I know that first hand. People lack problem solving skills and think that threatening and spreading bad things about you is the way to make things okay. Sometimes just raising concerns and being reasonable goes a long way.

A few times I've dealt with Andrew and yourself and I have always been happy.

Best of luck with your new career.

I completely understand why. I went to them to get my car fixed a few times and they made the problem even worse.

In other news, this post was a complete joke.

They're great..

Andrew was always easy to deal with. No doubt trying to cater to broke kids all the time drained his enthusiasm let alone have to be shadowed by a certain shop that always tried to tattle tail on him for everything he did.

The market is changing and people need to roll with the punches (if they want to) or slowly die a painful death.

I hope Andrew is doing or does do what he enjoys and it's making him some dough, he certainly is one of the good guys and deserves it.

Love the tags*^ never met him in person but always got good advice and was never a dick back when I first came to the site and asked terribly dumb questions lol. And I remember most of the threads and pms/ emails with th tattle tailing! Needless to say never went to the complainers for anything
