87, 4 door hatch chevy sprint ! 3 cylinders.... paid 1000 for it back in summer of 2002. It lasted 1 year with maybe 500 dollars in repairs. Max speed I ever got it to was 120 KM.
It would start when it the motor was warm and died overnight I don t really know why though.

my first car was a 87 toyota celica gt, bought it from a guy who was livin the country for $100 i was 15. car sat for a year, got my g1 and gave it a paint job before hiting the road.
6 mouths later was driving as my dally driver , 2mouths later need a new rad starter and alternater. First winter someone backing out of there driveway hit me on the side, fixed it. Blow the tranny going up a friends driveway b/c it was all icy and then hit a dry spot and hocked blowing the tranny and 3 engine mounts. Bought a celica GTS parts car, with a blowen motor for $300. Swapped everything over, seats, wing and a lot of stuff, 2 years later sold it for $350

mine was a 92 hatchback, spent all my time and money modding it back in highschool. This was back in the rice days so it had a bodykit and whatnot. ended up selling it a couple years later because i didnt want anything that stood out like that.

93 jeep yj bought it for 500 bucks, i spent all summer fixing it up and put 1000$ into it. Had no major problems, has almost 300 xxxkms.. Fun trucks but 60 dollars of gas gets you 370km lol. ewww

Yea tell me about it! god damn GM cars, the motor was fine after a rebuild(the rest sucked!)

What I forgot to mention about that car is

I snapped the shifter in half while doing some spirited driving, and after I fixed the shifter finaly almost cutting my damn wrist I took it for a nice drive to test it out, (the clutch was about 3 months old?)

going from second to third gear I hear a BOOM crackle crackle crackle I Can shift into each gear but no power to the wheels, hmm weird, I disintegrated my clutch, it ripped through my transmission housing in shards of carbon w/e it was.

The funny thing was my brother pushed my car home with his b16 CRX LOL!
