You know modding your car has gone mainstream when...

(kinda like Jeff Foxworthy's "You might be a redneck if..." )

Anyways, I was flipping through a Wal-Mart flyer that comes in the mail looking to see how cheap their PS2 controllers were and I saw a page of your typical rice mods!

They've got your pedals, shifter ***** and stickers! Not to mention the Philips blue vision headlights (or whatever they're called), plus colour coordinated floor mats and seat covers with "Racing" brand logo on them!

HAHA!! Those mod parts you see at Walmart are almost like the ones you see at Canadian Tire...I wanted to get the Yosemite Sam "BACK OFF" mud flaps for the civic but was stopped at the checkout counter by someone...haha!!

WTF?? really?? Looks like Wal-mart has watched some TF&TF and decided to jump on the banwagon.... I wouldn't even think about going to Wal-mart for any "performance" parts

speaking of wallmart....

anyone ever seen the "chinese" wallmart commercial?

everytime i see that commercial i think of CosmicGirl and her mom

but personally there's nothing wrong with wallmart selling this stuff....personallizing your car has been around for ages, and if someone wants to go to wallmart and get something that represents them, that they want on thier car, more power to them.....
remember.... everyones car is different, one mans treasure is another mans eye sore

i've never bought car stuff there.... but I admit that i do like looking at the stuff there......but i like looking at the stuff at canadian tire too

it's almost as fun as doing it at canadian tire.....except most of these people don't know much.....
if you go... ask the salesman "how much HP gain can I expect with this muffler tip?......my friend told me i should expect about 5"

just watch the look on his face as he tries to think of an answer

i've heard crappy tires' prices are quite good. need to go back with the correct part number to make sure it's the right price though.

So you mean that the sales rep was lying to me when I bought my Raxtive muffler tip? So I shouldn't be getting 10 HP but only 5? I'm going to have to speak to the manager.

I wouldn't buy performance parts in a Walmart, but I must say, the small neon lights they have are pretty good. I've had a 9" blue one for about a year now and it's super bright.
