It is not that easy to form a team.
Financially, all team members need to have a steady source of income so you can modify and change parts as required.
All team members need to agree on things and have the heart to accept one another and potential new members. They need to have spare time to do things together, and more important, committment.
Take this Thailand team for example, the first thing you do is dish out money to paint your car. I don't think that's cheap unless one of the team member owns a garage or have access to one.
Basically, you need money, and you need time. It is a good thing to do things together, nontheless.
