Question worth it?

i was just looking in the trader and i came across an '88 rex with zc engine and tranny, racing clutch, 199k, not running, needs wiring harness, $600. Would the wiring harness and labour be expensive? is this a big problem? i'm just wondering if it would be worth a 2 hour drive to go check it out

yeah man, surface rust is fine...but make sure it doesn't have any underbody rust or holes.

Sounds like a good deal to me if the body is in good shape.

From my experience at looking at CRXs when people say "good" in actuality the car is a rusty POS, most people dont have a clue what a good CRX looks like

Really, Really, really check the floors and A pillar and the underside of the rockers. Rust is the major cancer on the CRX. You can pull a wiring harness off any 4th gen civic and modify it to fit..
