wireless remote
 

I have a 1999 Honda Civic EX... did not come with a wireless remote. I have a remote from an old car with FCC ID: A269ZUA106 but i've followed all the instructions on how to re-program it to my car .. but it just does not seem to work ... there also another remote with FCC ID:A269ZUA101 that I've seen people mentioning online ... not sure if that will work better ... any advice?

you talking about the one with 101 as the last 3 numbers.. yes? ... does it have 2 buttons... or 3 buttons (+ option button) ... where are you located?

I dunno the number cuz I don't carry it on me anymore (it was from my old car I crashed lol) but it only has lock/unlock and panic...no third button...you may be thinkin of the EL remote...I live in sauga

well if you do have it .. the FCC ID # .. should be right at the back of it ... if its the FCC ID:A269ZUA101 .. i'lll pick it up .. i'm in brampton

what car did this remote come from? ....

It came from a 99 SE sedan...should work though...hopefully I remember to check it when I get home...but I'll most likely forget lol

yeah just check if the FCC ID = A269ZUA101 and let me know.. if it is.. i'll pick it up sometime this week

LOL! I told you I would forget about it. Dude, I'm sure it'll work on your car. All the EK remotes are the same. If you're willing to come to sauga and test it out I'll meet up with you
