Why is so damn tough for me to find a 6th Gen Civic Hatchback in a DX model and 5 Speed? Let alone at a dealership?

Seems just about every hatchback I see is a CX.

Maybe I'm too damn picky?!

hmm.. maybe ..
maybe you should look at those CX's .. see what they come with ..
oddly enough, a lot of CX's come with the same things as the DX .. ie: tack, dual airbags, power steering etc..

just take a look at what options come with the cx, you may just be surprised..

why do you want a DX instead of a CX?

What kind of project are you looking to build?

The CX may actually be the better choice for you

It was a 99 DX hatch with 56000 kms.. 5spd.. without AC.. she sold that thing for 9800 bucks... which is very very cheap... it is in red.. when I called her 2 days after she she posted it on autotrader... she sold it./..

dam.... so let's say good deal never last....

so open the autotrader on Thursday morning before 6:00am.. then look it up as quick as you can.. find the best price .. then go for it..

I guess I saw 3 or 4 5pd opnes out there in autotrader... but the price.. are very uneven... some of them are over priced.. and some are not in good condition or millage...

it's hard.. so take it easy and it will come to you... good luck man.

I got the 97 CX and it has everything that the DXs have

Well it won't be a project car or anything.
Thats what the CRX is for. I want it as a daily driver.

The main thing for me is the tach. Power steering isn't a big deal since my CRX doesn't have one(and its an Si too!).
I know the DX mirrors and spoiler are body coloured so maybe I'd get those painted to match the car... But then again I like the Type R spoiler so damn much! But how would it look w/o a kit or anything?
Also can anyone tell me if theres an armrest that can be added to the CX? I saw a DX with it and I love that option!

About the only thing that I wonder about the CX is wether or not it has 4 speakers and since I know the DX has the security pre-wiring.

Also since I spent basically all my cash on my CRX, I dont have any money for a down payment so I have to find a dealership with financing.

i say buy the cx and if you want you can always add things to it, like the armrest... u know how it goes

Ya now that I know that theres very lil dif b/w the 2 models, I'll see about a CX. I'll get the armrest later on. Main thing is the tach though.

my CX came with 4 stock speakers
but they suck *** :P
need the FUSION ones!!!!
and my cluster is the same as the SI but i think i don't have some of the same lights like the low gas and check oil and check engine lol
and it has the tach, speedo, fuel and temp

I got mine for 7g's CX. I did'nt really care cause CX's and Dx's come with sam HP so no matter 2 me

I guess I'll just limit myself to a manual CX with a Tach(hopefully!) and the rear wiper.
I just want 4 speakers so I dont have to buy new ones and I'm too lazy to swap out my CRX ones.

If and when I get the Hatchback I'll get back to ya on that one.

the hatch stopped at 2000 and restarted with the 2003 SIR
