I get laughed at all the time at work .... get told I drive a "riced out civic" I ussualy respond with "at least I got the ***** to do 90km/h + in a parking lot on a race day ... 
ussually shuts them up ...
then again my car is all stickered up

I think ive only gotten a few personal comments and they have all been from mullet rocken camero drivers (as someone said before born import haters), and a couple sunflower drivers that said they have more displacement (2.2) than me therefor would kill me in a race...and they werent even harsh persay... Lets face it Imports did suck *** not that long ago, and that generation of people bred their children like that lol.
I dont know, i guess cuz up here import tunning is rare so my car gets respect for being unique. People also respect me as an individual tho also, i think that has allot to do with it
allot of the time it has allot to do witrh the attitude of the owner, thuged out wasaga whiteboys holding the wheel with their wrist looking through the middle of the windshild chirping the tires at every corner... Yah those guys dish out the vibe giving themselfs and other civic owners a bad rep...

Well when I hear people say that I knew right away that they are lack of knowledge. I really don't mind what they says. Just do what you feel like to do.

I didn't want my Civic at first, I hated it even. Then I started driving it and doing a few things to it and....well now I'm saving to buy another Civic.
Don sweat what people say about your car. I'm the only person out of my close friend's who drives a Honda and I use to take a lot of flack for it. Then they say a few fast Hondas or rode in my car and say how good it handled for a little econo box. Shut them up

Dropp a fully built B18c turbo under your hood then bring it to class for show and tell with a fancy chart with power to weight ratios, track times and dyno graphs compared to the corvette everyone in that class will give u mad respect hahaha

YEAH BUT THE REASON I DONT WANT AN ENGINE LIKE THAT IS BECAUSE I DONT WANT TICKETS AND I DONT WANNA BE SCREWED BY INSURANCE IF I GET IN AN ACCIDENT

i love the highschool kids.. if i'm bored and one of them try to race me in there j body i usually comply.. then just let them go ahead off the light then i just kinda follow them around town... its all about being the shark

honda for life ... as someone said a 95 civic has the same resale as a 99-00 GM ,
man what does that tell u ... another good point is ....
u would have to admit
a cavalier with a full body kit , rims , drop , Etc ..... looks good , i say LOOKS good with what 5g's + spent , but runs like a bag of poooh
but put a drop and a set of wheels on a 95 civic and it looks badass for what 2G's
