Why do people hate civics???

hi everyone, I am starting to get sick of people making fun of civics. In my math class at school, I am constantly made fun of because i drive a 92 hatch civic and i do not understand why, I have one of the best looking cars in my sschool parking lot. I wish people would understand that civics are good reliable cars and that is why they are one of the most popular cares out there.
Tell me if u civic drivers out there get this same crap as I do.

because they are reliable and economic and they are jelous that they dont have one.... they prefer their cheaper cavaliers and sunfires that will break down long before our hondas do...........

mainly because there are so many out there and some people give it a bad rep with trying to street race and 'dressing' it up...

Personally I would tell them to **** off or go down to their level and make fun of them

hey, they can have their cavs and sunfires... but when their 99' cav breaks down on the road and my 95 civic drives by them, im sure they will wish they made a different descision

Don't worry about what other people say. Some folks are born to hate imports.

Drive what you like, period. I almost have no intention of getting rid of Civic whatsoever. It is like a family. Gonna keep it for as long as I can. If I need a bigger car, I will buy a bigger car.

yeah man, its just kind of hard to ignore it cuz my teacher drives a sunfire, two of them drive caviliers and one guy drives a jetta so they start making fun of my civic in class while everyone else is watching and my teacher kind of lets them sort of and then there ius me left all by myself to defend the civics and it gets so frustrating cuz i have to stick up for my car man.

u dont have to stick up for your car tho, if you like it thats all that matters... everyone has an opinion... just shrug it off... its not worth argueing over

okay, i will take your advice, i know that my car is way better than caviliers and sunfires and all u guys know too so i dont need to prove anything as i know i am rite, thanks fellas

People in highschool laughed when they saw me drive my mom civic sedan, cause i didnt have my own car yet, and they all had their own,but I didnt mind, cause I laughed in theur face when I drove my brother ** camaro z28 and asked if they could have a ride.

people make fun of things that intimidate them, especially high school punks who think theyre the ****, most of them either dont drive, or drive their parents **** boxes...so thats why they make fun of you, pure jelausy...

and then theres the other crowd which hates on civics simply bcause they are reliable, nice looking, and can be made to go fast easily, or suped up easliy...

however there are so many ppl that do such stupid things to their civics they give everyone a bad name, so sometimes im not surprised people make fun of civics, cuz i do too if i see something redicilous...

I used to drive a 93 Ford Probe GT, and I must admit, I was one of those guys who used to hate Civics too... but that was because there were so many people driving them already. Until it came time to buy a new ride. I ended up test driving my 99 Si, because I like the way it looked, and I fell in love with it because of the way it drove AND it's great reputation.

So just remember who's car will still be driving at the end of the day. I've seen 3 cavalier's head gaskets blow. And apparently, that's the "norm" for those cars.

Hey, you can even offer em a lift to the garage or home when you see them on the side of the road.
