Hit 50km/h. Its an auto 03 Subaru forester. I'm sure with accord if you launched it, it would do same if not quicker.

50km/h in 30 meters? wow...that's pretty quick

but looking at the pics, the speed must have been greater than 14km/h...the guy must have floored it.

Just me for the 30m test. Or actually my brother, I counted 30m and he zoomed by. Now driving around in my mums Subaru, I managed to hit 40km/h in the distance of an intersection. Hell from stop sign across the intersection going across the small intersection on a side road managed to hit 40km/h from the line till the front wheels hit the pedestrians walkway lane. First gear in auto cars boogy unless its an ford escort or something.

I may have to double check it in person, but figured it out using the measure feature in Google earth

I would agree....the damage seems too great for someone accelerating within 30m.

Were there any skid marks from the other drivers car? Or did he just plow into you? Because if he just ran through the light he must have gone faster and slammed on the brakes. Or he launched the car and hit you without braking.

What did the other driver say after the impact?
