Who would win???

hey guys just wondering who do you think would win in a race a stock SiR against a stock GTI VR6 i think the SiR would win but hey just want other people's opinoins

why though is it the weight ratio difference
because doesn't the SiR have more HP

174hp and 181 tq

1999-2000 sir
160 hp and 111 tq

vr6's have a lot of torque!!!...theyre pretty fast...topend maybe the sir will take it out there tho???

definetely...there's no doubt at the GTi ...it doesn't even have to be a VR6 even.

I know two people one with the 1.8 GTi and the other with an SiR... both took a run...the GTi stomped on the SiR .... both of which have their share of driving experience

but when it comes to stopping... i think everyone i know that has a VW has had to replace the master cylinder atleast once. hahahaha

true, no doubt the VR6 would take the SiR..

how would a GSR fair vs. the VR6?? still not torque but how about topend?

no doubt the GTi will smoke the SiR
i am alway a big fan of their 1.8T engine.....they fly once they are chipped.

Unfortunately everyone I know who has had a VR6 has had nothing but problems with them , I don't know why , They look nice but have become VR SUcks to most of my associates
