A car is meant to be driven. I don't believe in storing a car unless its a nice BMW, Ferrari, etc.

So mine will be driven.

Even if you have a nice BMW... unless it's a Z8.. you have no reason to put it away... a car is meant to be driven.. and you can't be buried with your car.

Porsche 911 Turbos actually work very well in the snow. Ranks up there if you put a nice set of winter tires on there.
(Boxsters are pieces of ****... if you compare a nice Lexus SC430 to a Boxster... the Boxster loses in build quality... loses in acceleration... I'd use a Boxster as my winter beater... I hate that car.. and also.. it's ugly).

Well we got hit with a nasty whiteout last night, roads were black ice everywhere...Rims, summer rubber, kit, lowered ect (basically a nightmare to drive on snow/ice...

I got home from work fine, but I pushed my luck and decided to go out again around midnight.. got to the top of my road, and slide right through a 90 degree turn right into the ditch... Thank god I spent the extra $$ for a urethane kit, cuz it tucked right under my car (thats what stoped me...lol) fiberglass would of been everywhere! So I walked home and got the Cherokee out (why I didnt just drive that in the first place???donno, the civic was out of the garage/ lazy/ stupid on my part)

Anyway I thought my front end was f**KED cuz it was almost tucked right under my driverside wheel... But I tied a rope to the rear tow loop, and the jeep in 4wheel low just idled the civic right out of the ditch, by myself (as much as I hate chrysler, that jeep is powerful, and has awsome traction)...

The bumper popped right back to they way it should be, but the paint really peeled (it was ready for new paint anyway, no loss)

So that was a big enough hint to get my car back to stock for the winter, like pronto... so next weekend im gonna be in the garage all day most likely doing shocks/springs/wheels/kit removal ect...

I decided against buying a winter beater, I cant stand the thought of driving a non reliable car especially in the winter...And the jeep is spoken for I need a car to get to work, so this will be its last winter, cuz its gonna have a fresh paintjob next summer!
