Talking Where to go to buy a HELMET?

Hi.

I'm looking for a nice and CHEAP (Snell M 2000) Helmet. I need it for AutoX and things of that nature. I don't have a rollcage so I think a M rated is good enough...

I like the open face ones better. Anybody know of a good place in Toronto that has good quality, good looking and CHEAP Helmets?

Thanks.

Punk quit taking drugs before noon

I bought my Helmet new from Cycle world on Sheppard just east of Brimley..

I have to get a SA 2000 approved helmet and I am willing to let my current helmet go after I have one......just have to stop being lazy

ok Helmet buying trip next Wednesday .... before the meet ... you guys up for it? we meet at KC at 6 and then head off to cycle world and drive them nuts with questions....

I think because of go karting I'll keep my current helmet and just add to it a open faced SA 2000 approved helmet I like those because they are less restricting....

your not racing in my series are you jason? they do allow you to use open faced masks but it would suck getting a pebble or something in the face...

slow down Punk ... we know I ain't racing with go slow karts (well slow for a fat *** like me .,.. )

what I was saying is we should all go together to see if we can swing a deal to by the helmets we need... I have a closed face M2000 rated helmet... however with the roll bars in the car I'm not allowed to run solo 2 without a SA 2000 approved helmet .. so I'm going to just get a open faced one.. that way the closed face can still be used for slow-karts and the open faced one will be more comfortable for the solo 2....

i got mine @ CSC up in newmarket.

went to cycle world. great folks.
i didn't buy one, everything from 150 to 500 bucks won't fit..and i wasn't shelling out more than 5 bills for a M rated helmet.

it was either too small, or it'd fit my cheeks but the top of my head would be imploding after 3 mins.

gatherer: i'd suggest the SR Pro. it's not full closed face, but at least it has the chin guard.

Thats not gonna happen! She's a VIRGIN and will stay one for a long time!!

(No Cat-back. I found the after market exhuast system slowing the car down, as it killed a lot of torque. Straight-throw design doesn't do any good to my car. However, the stock exhuast system works superbly. )

I have to drop gf at school. I won't get home before 8:30....

That aside, pockets are full of spider-net....
However, I would be very interested to go there and checkout their stuff....

i'm actually interested in picking up an open face m rated helmet. if we get enough interest, i'm sure we could get a pretty decent deal at one of the places.

Bling Bling! 1970's gold fleck baby, with a bubble visor. Unfortunately it's no good to anyone, since it doesn't even have a DOT sticker on it.

Someone found it in my basement and decided it was the funniest thing they had ever seen, so I took it out for some pics.
