Where do you get your oil changed??

Just wondering where everyone goes for their oil change, or do you do it yourself??:shrugs:

shlammed 19-Jan-2004 10:50 AM

why would you pay upwards of $40 at some places when you can do it all yourself for like $15-$20

So I guess that means your answer is you do it yourself. Thanks.

BTW, not everyone had the time (or the space) to do their own oil changes.........

Why do it for yourself for $15-$20 when you can get Buddah to do it for that price?

He does mine..

$15 you bring your own filter / $20 if he needs to supply..

Great! I am a member. This may sound like a stupid question but, who is Buddah?

I live within walking distance of buddah's current shop... I go there....unless I'm in alberta then I do it myself .... :p

the only reason I go there is the lifts.. I hate jacking up my own car and my driveway isn't perfectly flat...ohhh andf then there's the fact that I won't get dirty... I can sit down and watch... ohhh and the best part is I can shoot the **** with a friend while I wait.... I ussually provide both oil and filter when I go... but thats just my preferance....

EL_Sport 19-Jan-2004 12:48 PM

At the Acura dealership, especially considering my first 4 of them are free.

Another perk at Buddah's

You can smoke, eat, and drink alcohol inside the "customer waiting area"!!!

Make sure to ask Wilsun if he wants a drink too..

imported_toyman29 19-Jan-2004 01:09 PM

u can even do the oil change on the street... just need some buckets and wrenches

its funny how some people think they know so much about cars but dont even do their own oil change let alone repairs and etc.
(not talking about n e 1 specific.. just in general)

NoSpleeny 19-Jan-2004 01:14 PM

Honda... I pay $28.88 and I save the problem of disposal... cleaning up... buckets... mess... blah blah blah... I usually bring my car to get the service.. at the same time.. I go to the dealership and sit in their new cars and play around. :)
