Store it? Bah! It's a Civic not a Ferrari.

I drive it like it stole 365 days a year. Why do you want to store it anyway? Civics are great in the snow when equipped with snow tires and they get good gas mileage when you are using more fuel on those chilly winter days. Unless you know somone with a garage you could use, storing it somewhere would probably cost $$$.

do people know how to just answer a question anymore? Some people like to keep their cars clean and away from ice and snow and if they have a beater why not? Other people have expensive paint jobs that they dont want damaged...who cares if it's a civic or not...he obviously wants to take better care of his car then most of us care to.

I have heard some places charge over $100 a month, try to find a friend with a garage. People say oh its just a civic, well a supra is still JUST A CAR...not like they are made out of platinum.

ya......but if you really want the car to last a long time you have to keep it out of the winter salt.......I think its imposible for rust proof to protect every single part of the car that could be exposed to rust...

I store my civic....

and to answer your question as to why? it's simple to avoid all the idiots that can't winter drive and cause me headaches latter because I'll be having to speak to insurance. also since my car is prepped for autocross I really don't want to replace parts all the time and under coatings add wieght.

I don't store it because it's special I store it so that I can have fun in the summer with it. simple as that

I got a bit of rust...no biggie...i didn't buy my civic to modify and take great care of (eventhough i have began to do that lately) so maybe my next car I'll appreciate more and baby all the time. For now its steelies and snows.

very true....but like others have said, it's a Civic, not a Supra or Ferarri.

I store my crx in my garage.
You're not wrong for wanting to store it during winter...the snow/salt can really take it's toll on a car.
