Where do I go for a good synthetic Oil Change?
Hey, I was thinking of switching to Synthetic...just to see if it really makes a big difference...Anyways, where is the best place to get this done?
What should I do to ensure a smooth crossover from regular to synthetic??? Engine Flush? New Filter? 5W30? Thanks guys |

guess thats the ONLY shop that can do the switch here's an idea ever think to tell him once you use Synthetic you can NEVER use regular oil again now that would have been more help then just a number But what do i know I'm just cluster |
thx...i just needed a place that will change it properly...i figure there is more to switching to Synthetic than just emptying out the regular oil and then pouring in the Synthetic.
Ill check out RT tomorrow after work |
although i heard someone say you CAN switch back...I was aware of the fact that most people say you can't..........
I was going to stay with synthetic anyway.....I just hope its "worth" the extra money...its not that much more anyway, not even close to a days work for 3,000KM of smooth sailing :D |
Not worth it

Basically pick one and stick with it. No sense switching back and forth like a yo-yo, you're just wasting your time and money. And if your motor has seen quite a bit of kilometerage already, i wouldn't bother switching to the synthetic. The whole point of using sythetic is to reduce engine wear, if your motor has already suffered significant engine wear then why bother? Wait till it blows and get a swap. :D |
