My buddy got smashed by some dude that ran a red light and car was written off, hes got 10gs now sitting in his pocket and wants to get something rare around that price.

i was going to get a rhd car.. but beware, very very hard to insure... nowhere wants to do right hand drive.

right hand drive is cool and all, but it does have it problems when driving on are streets, i would not do it.

that, and the fact that the doors dont have rebars in them. example.. the ef8 crx, and eg6... no rebars in the door to protect you in a collision.. pretty unsafe.

sign up on www.***************** and look for their vendors, they currently have the best importers, you pay a bit more, but they check the car before purchasing from japan, they do not buy junked or wrriten of refurbished vehicles, they buy cars sold from the orginal owners, and they deal with japanese companies and dealers who follow the same process.

the plus side, is they have a decent fixed rate of around $3000 for importing and they even insure the vihicle and do all the legal paper work for you.

i have literally seen more then a hand full of people buy skylines,ae86, and pulsars on that forum all with excellent reviews, even saw few of the cars at meets last year that i went to once or twice. they looks brand new, sort to speak.no rust and all.

you should definately go there you won't be dissapointed.

There is a used car lot in Burlington on Plains Rd that usually has 3 or 4 Skylines on the lot. Next time I drive by I'll get the name of the place.
