I believe ANY work done on a car would come with a 90 day waranty. As long as you have a bill that has the gst and pst tax that you paid clearly marked on it.

If this is not on the bill......zero day waranty.

That's my understanding.

Ok, so if someone gets their paint job done, and it's clearly a completely **** job, but the shop's word is they will fix it, but dicks around for more than 5months, is there a law or something that will support the consumer by forcing the bodyshop to fix it or pay up for the poor job done?

I'm guessing the answer is no, but is there any way to get something out of it in the end? Cuz shops like this shouldn't be in business at all.

Thought I'd drop a line in here...

The body shop that JPG Exhaust sent me to (behind them), Exclusive Car Care, actually used BODY FILLER to fix my car!

I'll never trust a body shop that's not recommended by either my insurance company or the dealership.

When I had to get my paint fixed I wasn't happy with the paint job and the body shop that I went to offers a lifetime warranty on its work. I told them I wasnt satisfied and they fixed it no questions or hassles.

The body shop that did my paint has a lifetime warranty as long as I own the car. It will be going back in to get a couple of other little things touched up soon.

You get what you pay for.
