well suspension and performance are the same thing it's a sort of all in one package ...however I took at guess at what you meant meaning performance = engine stuff

with that said suspension is the best .... here's why...

security is second in my books

ok suspesion ... well if your braking to stop and someone suddenly jumps out in front of you (in a car)(in such a way that stock suspension would not take trying to avoid someone).... which would help the most? not raw power (unless you want to run them down) it'll not get you out the situation cleanly... and exterior mods would be crushed... so they would have to be replaced....audio would just increase the weight fo the car in this sort of situation and would result in more momentum and therefore making it even harder to avoid and interior mods could be wrecked if the crash is big enough...

with that being said do you A) want to avoid the sitiuation maybe with a finger to the other driver letting them know they were wrong or B) end up dealing with insurance and not getting back the cash for the mods you've done...?

suspension gets my vote but this is just my opinion... and with suspension don't neglate the tires.. sticky stuff is important too I hope that helps

security..

i'd like to take my nice new suspension for a run thru the solo course..but dammit, someone stole it last nite
i'd love to take it to Cayuga and see what that new K20'll do..but dammit, someone stole it last nite
i'd love to go for a nice 3 hour cruise, melt the volume at 30 and feel the bump and pump of that nice new system..but dammit, someone stole it last nite

if yer gonna spend a few G on upgrades, at least make sure you'll still have them in the morning

$500'll save ya thousands in the long run

si veloz.... damn good point.....

it was a tough call for me between the 2 but in the end I'm a building my own security system so that it's not that simple to understand so my first mods will be my suspension

I did suspension first. Da best for moi...

After all the stuff I did, two things were by far the best bang for the buck: Knockoff CAI (with AEM sticker ) and H&R Sports Springs. Both were erious changes to the old Coupe...

Talking

Honestly, the interior would be the first to go!..

If you start with a new project, a good chance the car will be a nice one at that... so exterior will look alright already.

Do up the interior.... and then add a few other detail on the body...and rims.... and Voila... you got yourself a sweet ride.

HOw you like those apples!!!!

It all depends.........for example, if I had a stock SiR, I would work on the motor since it looks good already.
But it also comes down to the deals and connections you have for parts and installation.......plus package deals.

I planned on motor work but got deals on wheels and springs, so doing a little of both.

It's all good!!!

i'd start with security, then suspension...........

interior and exterior would be two of the last things i would do......... with your car going in and out of shops to get various work done, i wouldnt want my nice new interior getting all gummed up.......... or your new bodykit getting mangled cuz the person driving your car into the shop doesnt know how to drive a lowered car......

I agree with SiVeloz, it doesn't matter what you put into your car, if its not there in the morning its useless...

Security = #1

Like RICH00 said, whatever deal comes along.

I was going to do suspension first....but a deal came along for a turbo kit so that got bumped up the list.
